If there is a will, there is a way.
That is to say that if you will something, you can almost always find a way for it to work. And, for us, there is a will, a will to maintain and build relatinoships despite the distance.
Though more and more people are living further apart from hometowns and natural families, technology helps to close the gap. Over the past 3 1/2 years of living across the country from family, we have found many different and creative ways to keep relationships strong.
We will share some of those ideas here- from two perspectives. You will hear from our perspective, the parents of two young kids (ages 6 & 2) living in California and from the grandparents, living in Wisconsin.
